Cold Weather Consumption

The cold weather during the winter season typically contributes to higher energy consumption usage as people spend more time indoors. Not only do people spend more time indoors using appliances, lights and electronics but your furnace also runs more frequently to warm your home.

In addition to this, items such as space heaters and block heaters draw high amounts of consumption while in use.

If you have concerns regarding high consumption, we encourage you to look at the items you have in use around your home which may be contributing to higher energy consumption during the winter months.
